Jeremy

Jeremy with Safe Harbor's Executive Director, Kay-Lynette Roca.

Thirteen-year-old Jeremy Chosnek made a big difference in the lives of some animals for his Bar Mitzvah project. He choose Safe Harbor as his project and went around to his friends and family to ask them to donate towels to help the animals at Safe Harbor. Jeremy also pledged to donate 50 cents for every towel that he collected. He ended up donating over $75 dollars! In addition to towels, he also gathered some other supplies such as food, and much needed blankets. When he and his mother, Betsy came to Safe Harbor to drop off all of the goodies that he collected, Executive Director Kay-Lynette Roca gave Jeremy a special tour where they got to view all of the newly rescued victims from Hurricane Katrina. The animals really appreciated your work, thanks Jeremy!
