The 22nd Annual Celebrity Dog Wash & Band Aid Festival

Vendor Information:

Safe Harbor invites you to take part as a vendor in what is being called one of South Florida's most anticipated events.

With Carlin Park's beautiful new amphitheater near completion and Safe Harbor finally recovering from a devastating fire last March, we are so excited to announce that on Saturday, May 16th, we will be hosting the 22nd Celebrity Dog Wash Festival. The event will open at Noon and end at 9:00 PM.

They say that all good things come in time and after waiting almost two years to host one of the largest family events of the year, we are finally coming back with a bang! Each year, thousands of family members and their pets come out to enjoy a day of international foods, arts &crafts, K-9 demonstrations, celebrity dog washers and international recording artists.

This year we are happy to announce that we are adding a Harley Bike show to our line up of fun and entertainment. Hundreds of Harley motorcycle enthusiasts will be attending our event and will have their bikes on display for people to see. There will even be a bike judging contest. In addition, we will be adding a"Best Harley Dog" category to our pet costume contest this year.

International recording artist "WAR" will take center stage and perform some of their greatest hits including Low Rider, Spill the Wine, Why can't we be Friends and Cisco Kid. In addition, local bands Tom Can't Stop, Acoustic Remedy, The Shareholders and Big Vince & The Phat Cats will keep the excitement building until the main event.

But the big stage is just the half of it. Over in our Dog Wash tent, there will be a steady stream of local celebrities washing dogs and mingling with our animal loving crowd. Starting with WZZR’s infamous Love Doctor's, Rich & Glenn along with the beautiful Lexus and joining us for the day will also be Kool 105.5's Mo & Sally, Josh &The Home Team, Johnny C & The Greek, WPBF'S Teri Parker, WPEC News 12 Curt Fonger and Liz Quintes, WPTV News 5 John Favole and Steve Weagle, and Don Brewer, drummer for Grand Funk Railroad.

So come join us at what is certainly the largest and best South Florida dog-friendly family event. Support Safe Harbor’s continuing service to dogs and cats in need and sign on to be a vendor at this exciting event.
