 provider writes, ""I adopted Saki from the Alachua County Rescue League when I was attending college at the University of Florida . He was the smartest, sweetest cat I’ve ever met. He would wait for me at the door, come when called, sleep with me every night, could open doors and even sit on command! After a long and difficult process trying to find out why he was sick, we discovered that he had intestinal lymphoma (cancer of the intestines/stomach). He was with me for 14 wonderful but too short years. I miss him dearly and can only hope to be reunited with him one day. Please post this photo to let others know how much joy an adopted friend can bring to their lives."
